HISTORYGolden Crown Stables were built in 1972 by Patricia and Erik Green when they were only newly married. It started out as a small farm covering 20 acres, containing a stable with ten stalls, a house to live in and two small pastures. However, the project failed badly and the couple had to sell it due to complete bankruptcy a few years after it was built, resulting in leaving the lands to their Patricia's cousin Margaret Lillish and her family when Maggie was only 25. It was located near the city of Simrishamn for a good while, until Zac and Ashleigh Marshell decided to move the property to a large area between Skurup and Svedala. They are closer to a large lake, but otherwise surrounded by woods, which is visible from the main building windows. GCS is currently 200 acres, all containing the pastures and buildings needed for the large amount horses, canines and felines living there. The prefix recently changed from GCS to GC, to shorten the official names of the horses registered with our stable. CURRENT YEAR: 2020-2024 CONTENT HEADING HERELorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. |
